On 19–20 May 2026, NETSQUARE, a partner in the iSOCaaS consortium, attended AI WEEK 2026, the 7th edition of one of Europe’s leading events on applied artificial intelligence, held at Fiera Milano Rho in Milan, Italy. About 30,000 attendees took part. Most were managers, entrepreneurs and business professionals, including CEOs, Chief Innovation Officers, general managers, and leaders in HR, business intelligence, sales and marketing, production and purchasing.

538 sessions on AI in practice
The AI WEEK programme ran 538 sessions on 17 stages over two days, all focused on how organisations can adopt AI in practice. Topics included:
- Hybrid and sovereign AI, and building custom large language models.
- Agentic AI and intelligent orchestration of business operations.
- AI agents built with MCP and knowledge bases for enterprise use.
- AI-driven supply chains, analytics and autonomous ERP systems.
- The organisational and economic shift that AI brings to the workplace.
Why it matters for iSOCaaS
Many of the event’s key themes, such as agentic AI, intelligent orchestration and moving AI “from experiment to system”, are central to iSOCaaS. The project is designing intelligent, managed Security Operation Centre (SOC) services for European cyber resilience. It relies on AI-assisted orchestration, automation and response to support coordinated incident response, shared situational awareness, and preparedness and training.
At AI WEEK, NETSQUARE followed the latest developments in enterprise AI and made contacts with businesses and technology providers from across Europe. The insights gathered will help shape how iSOCaaS uses AI and how it presents its value to business decision-makers.
Looking ahead
As AI becomes part of everyday business operations, attack surfaces grow, and so does the potential for AI to support defense. Taking part in events like AI WEEK keeps iSOCaaS connected to these developments and to the European business community that will benefit from its results.
