iSOCaaS Newsletter #3: Q2 2026 Progress Update

Issue #3 of the iSOCaaS newsletter covers Q2 2026, the project’s most intensive quarter so far. With more than half of the project’s timeline behind it, iSOCaaS is moving from design and development into operational validation.

On the technical side, the five AI enablers are in their final-version stage (D3.2). The issue previews several results:

  • An end-to-end CTI pipeline that feeds into OpenCTI.
  • A production-ready UEBA architecture.
  • A mapping of all AI components against MITRE ATLAS and the OWASP ML Security Top 10.
  • A library of 83 CACAO playbooks, well above the target of 50.

At the same time, end-to-end system integration is progressing in WP4. It connects the Baseline and Intelligent SOC tiers with the ATHENA cross-border SOC backbone and with national authorities.

Service Delivery (WP5) started in May 2026. The 10 existing GR-SME-SOC users have already migrated to iSOCaaS, and preparation for onboarding at least 52 new users from NIS2 essential and important sectors is underway. In parallel, KUA and Insuretics are preparing a cyber insurance scheme for pilot participants, one of the project’s unique differentiators.

The issue also gives a mid-project KPI overview and reports on the quarter’s dissemination activities. These included events in Athens and Milan and a new journal paper. The project website has now passed 15,000 visits.
